What Should You Keep in Mind Before a General Health Check-Up?
To ensure accurate results from your general health check-up, please note the following:
- Fast for at least 8 hours before sample collection. You may drink plain water only; do not eat breakfast, drink milk, or use stimulants such as tea, coffee, or tobacco.
- If you are taking blood pressure medication on a daily basis, please continue taking it as prescribed.
- Inform healthcare staff in advance if you are pregnant.
- Bring along previous prescriptions, laboratory test results, and diagnostic imaging reports from your most recent visit.
- For female patients, it is recommended to schedule the check-up at least 5 days after the end of the menstrual cycle.
- The examination and result-reporting process may take approximately 3 hours.
- General health check-up services are not covered by health insurance cards (BHYT).
