On the afternoon of March 4, 2025, the Patient Council meeting combined with a Health Education Communication program themed ‘Overview of Urinary Tract Stones’ took place and received significant attention from patients and their family members currently receiving treatment at Nam Sai Gon International General Hospital..

During the program, Dr. LE VAN HIEU NHAN, Specialist Level II and Deputy Head of General Surgery Department, shared insights about urinary tract stones, explaining their causes, common symptoms, and the treatment methods widely used today. He particularly emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy diet—such as reducing salt intake, limiting foods high in animal-based protein, and drinking adequate amounts of water—to help prevent the formation of kidney stones.

Dr. Nhan’s presentation not only provided valuable information but also helped enhance health awareness and self-care skills for both patients and their family members.
