The Pharmacy Department is responsible for advising the hospital’s Board of Directors and managing all pharmaceutical operations to ensure a timely and sufficient supply of high-quality medications. It also monitors and promotes the safe and rational use of drugs.
Clinical pharmacy is part of our routine practice, providing accurate drug information to support physicians in treatment decisions and offering guidance to patients for safe medication use.
Operating in accordance with Ministry of Health standards
The Pharmacy Department at Nam Sai Gon International General Hospital strictly oversees every stage from procurement and storage to dispensing. It also monitors the usage of medications, medical equipment, chemicals, and consumables to ensure efficiency and safety.
We ensure a full supply of quality-assured medications and medical supplies that meet both clinical and patient needs.
All medications used in the hospital are diverse in type and clearly sourced from trusted, Ministry of Health-approved suppliers. They are certified for quality and safety with proper documentation. Medications are prescribed based on the patient’s diagnosis, condition, age, weight, and other factors, with the goal of minimizing adverse effects and ensuring treatment effectiveness.
