Step 1: Book your appointment
You can schedule your health check-up at the hospital through the following channels:

- Fill out the registration form below.
- Book via our Fanpage: Nam Sai Gon International General Hospital.
Step 2: Arrive at the hospital on time
- Bring necessary documents (ID/passport, health insurance, etc.). If you are verified at Level 2, you can use the VNeID app instead of your ID card.
- Provide your booking information to our customer service staff.
Step 3: Clinical and paraclinical examination
The doctor will conduct a general health check-up. Based on your package, they will prescribe the necessary tests and diagnostic imaging.
Step 4: Receive results and consultation
The doctor will explain your test results in detail and provide appropriate health advice or a treatment plan if needed.
Required documents for pre-employment medical check
- Original ID card or citizen identification (for verification), or Level 2-verified VNeID app.
- Two 4×6 white background photos (taken within the last 6 months) to be attached to the medical certificate (as required by the Circular).
Before your health check-up
- Avoid eating for at least 8 hours before the check-up. You may drink plain water, but do not consume milk, coffee, or caffeinated beverages.
- Inform your doctor if you have any metal implants or medical devices such as an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), hearing aids, dentures, bone plates, or intramedullary nails. Let your doctor know if you are currently taking any medications.
- Bring your personal identification documents and any previous medical records or test results (if available).
- Wear comfortable clothing to facilitate physical examination and testing procedures.
- Drink plenty of water before an ultrasound for clearer imaging results.
Note for women:
- Do not undergo a gynecological exam during menstruation.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant.
After your health check-up
- Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding diet, rest, and health monitoring.
- Take medication or undergo treatment as indicated, if applicable.
- Attend follow-up appointments as scheduled if required to track results and adjust treatment protocol in a timely manner.

The Pre-employment Medical Check under Circular 32 is a self-requested medical service. Therefore, it is not covered by public health insurance or private insurance under current regulations.
If customers need medical examinations or treatment under public or private insurance, Nam Sai Gon International General Hospital provides full support for nationwide health insurance coverage and direct billing services with 21 partnered insurance providers.
3. How long does it take to receive results from the pre-employment medical check?
In most cases, you will complete the check-up and receive your medical certificate within the same day, provided no additional tests are required. For the smoothest experience, we recommend scheduling your visit in the morning.
4. Is fasting required before a pre-employment medical check under Circular 32?
Yes. You should fast for at least 8 hours before your blood test to ensure accurate results, particularly for blood sugar and lipid levels. Plain water is allowed during this time, but please avoid food, milk, coffee, or other beverages.
5. In which cases is the Circular 32/2023/TT-BYT health check-up not applicable?
According to Chapter VI of Circular 32/2023/TT-BYT, this health check-up does not apply to the following cases:
- Outpatient or inpatient medical examinations and treatments.
- Forensic medicine and psychiatric forensic evaluations.
- Medical checks for injury certification.
- Occupational health examinations.
- Health checks for personnel under the Ministry of National Defense or Ministry of Public Security.
- Health checks for specific professions or regulated sectors.
