Trigger finger is a condition caused by inflammation of the annular ligament that holds the flexor tendon of the finger in place. This inflammation leads to pain and difficulty when bending or straightening the affected finger”.

Trigger finger is a very common condition, especially among women, yet it is often overlooked. Many patients ignore the early signs and only seek medical attention when the symptoms become severe.
